With
over 15 years of experience in the audio engineering and mastering
industry, Paul Gold moved his studio operations to Brooklynphono,
a new record pressing facility in Brooklyn, NY.
Paul had been the mastering engineer at Digi-Rom since 1995. He
installed and operated the studios at Digi-Rom as well as selected
new equipment appropriate for the rooms. For ten years he has been
a studio installation contractor, using his experience to insure
a clean and quiet signal path utilizing high quality components
and proper interfacing techniques. All of his equipment is meticulously
tested and maintained.
From 1991 to 1994 he worked at Daiichi Kosho Studios as a recording
and mastering engineer. In 1990 he worked at Barrington Sounds in
London as a recording engineer. While at Barrington he redesigned
the room acoustics and was responsible for the installation of a
completely new equipment package. He also has live sound experience,
having worked as a Front of House engineer at numerous venues in
New York City and on national tours.
